A Fresh Start

A cyberschool is an online school. If you attend this school, you don’t need a schoolbag and you can wear whatever you like. If you’re sociable, you might not like cyberschool because you usually don’t meet your classmates in person.

Boarding school students live at school. They sleep in a dormitory and eat their meals in a dining hall. The UNICEF School-in-a-Box helps children to keep learning even after an emergency like an earthquake destroys their school. There are many items of stationery inside the box, and the lid turns into a blackboard.

I started secondary school this year. My new school is huge. It has separate buildings for different subjects. We have to do our assignments every night. If not, we will be warned and have a detention. During the lessons, we don’t slouch but sit up straight. The food at the canteen is yummy. The meat pies are really tasty. One of my new friends is Elsie Chan. She’s sporty and creative. She draws excellent cartoons.
